Additional ADHD Resources

There are many organizations and even government legislation to assist people affected by ADHD. For instance, did you know there are federal laws in place designed to make sure your child's educational needs are met? Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) are two federal laws that protect your child from classroom discrimination and are designed to ensure that all children with disabilities, including those with ADHD, receive an appropriate education. To learn more about these laws and your child's rights under these laws, visit the U.S. Department of Education.  Below are additional sites that may be helpful to you and your family in finding further information on the diagnosis, treatment and management of ADHD, as well as support services and forums.
